Director of Sales and Marketing Randall Czapalay a native of Nova Scotia has spent many years in the Hospitality Industry focusing on Sales and Marketing, while attending Acadia University, he went directly to work in the Tourism Industry as a tour guide for Atlantic Canada. The following year he started his own company Schooner Guides and Tours, which specialized in planning multi-day guided tours for the Domestic and International Motor Coach Markets. A few years later he went onto work with the North American Office of Cosmos/Globus Tours in New York City. Globus Tours is a Swiss based tour operator who is a World leader in Motor Coach Touring. Randall was responsible for helping to setting up their Atlantic Canada Touring program and then various programs through out North America. He was a Senior Tour Director and Quality Controller with them for over 10 years. Finally wanting to share his experience and enthusiasm for the industry and seek more benefit for Atlantic Canada he moved onto work with Canadian Pacific Hotels and Resort as a Sales Manger in Halifax. The craving for travel came back as he moved onto the Airline Industry and was responsible for launching Air Transat and Air Transat Holidays into the Atlantic Canada market place. While involved with this he produced traveling road shows for simultaneous presentations for Product Launches on International destinations at various times through out the year. He was a guest and presenter on many Television Travel Shows, as a wealth of knowledge on travel and food of the countries he represented. Randall having the desire to continue his sales and marketing career and love of fine food, chose to bring his talents to Chefs By DESIGN Inc. Having joined the team in January of 2002, he sees the enormous potential of this culinary based company to assist others in this industry to also become successful.
